I walked across to hike Blake years ago during one of our low snow winters, but it is off limits today.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281608760834525796.post-7302540633979507382011-09-06T12:48:15.478-04:002011-09-06T12:48:15.478-04:00Thank you, Catharus.Thank you, Catharus.Jeff Farbaniechttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17687600943158149486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281608760834525796.post-77580266061738028252011-09-05T09:10:38.351-04:002011-09-05T09:10:38.351-04:00Thanks for the great trip reports and photos! The chance to paddle the lake would be fantastic, but that too is members & guests only. About the nearest you can get to that experience is to ski the frozen lakes in the winter. Which reminds me, here's a link to an excellent winter report from Colvin.Jeff Farbaniechttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17687600943158149486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281608760834525796.post-14107666322039281612011-09-03T08:19:41.410-04:002011-09-03T08:19:41.410-04:00Good trip report. Unfortunately, they had a real condescending attitude towards us and they were not very welcoming. Never bothered to ride the bus again. However, a paddle out on the lake in one of the beautiful guide boats they have in the boat house, that would be an experience.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
