Warren Miller’s 62nd winter sports film "…Like There’s No Tomorrow," hosted by skiing icon Jonny Moseley, is your annual reminder that winter is on its way:
“…Like There’s No Tomorrow” will have two local showings. Both typically sell out in advance, so get your tickets early:
Saturday 11/05, 7pm in the Trombley Auditorium, Maple Avenue Middle School, Saratoga Springs. Presented by the Alpine Sport Shop for the benefit of the Saratoga Springs High School Alpine Ski Team and the Vermont Hurricane Irene Relief Efforts. Tickets are $12 per person, and are available at the Alpine Sport Shop in Saratoga Springs, and through Saratoga High School ski team members. Friday 11/18 and Saturday 11/19 at the Charles R. Wood Theatre in Glens Falls to benefit the Ski West Mountain Education Foundation. Show times and ticket prices not yet available, but check the Wood Theatre’s website for additional information.

Friday 11/04, 4pm – 9pm, Saturday 11/05, 10am – 6pm and Sunday 11/06, 10am – 5pm. The 50th annual Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo will take place at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany. $8 admission ($7 in advance at albanyskiandsnowboardexpo.com) , 9 and under free.
Saturday 11/19, 10am – 6pm and Sunday 11/20, 10am – 4pm. The fourth annual Adirondack Sports & Fitness Winter Sports Expo at the Saratoga Springs City Center. $5 admission, 18 and under free.
Willard Mountain’s annual used equipment sale begins 10/29 and runs for 4 weekends. Items are sold on a consignment basis with 25% of the sale donated to Willard’s race team.
